Annual General Meeting - Monday April 19th, 7:00 pm at Stewart School. Any amendaments or additions to the PGHA Constitution must be received in writing by Monday April 5, 2010. Please give all written requests to an Executive Member or drop off at 47 Beckwith Street East.

Annual Awards Banquet - Sunday April 25, 2010, 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Perth Civitan Club. On the menu is hamburgs, hot dogs, ceasar salad, fries, dessert and a drink. Players/Siblings $5 ea. Adults $10 ea. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Please see your team manager for tickets.

FAIR PLAY IS EVERYONE'S RESPOSIBILITY - Tuesday, December 29, 2009

POSTED ON ODWHA WEBSITE: Fair play is everyone’s responsibility. 2009-12-14 TO ALL ODWHA MEMBERS: Unfortunately there has been a sharp increase in the amount of unacceptable behaviour in the stands. If a game has to be stopped by the officials or by an ODWHA Executive member as a result of abusive and inappropriate behaviour by a spectator, the game will not be started until the spectator has left the premises. If the game cannot be completed due to a substantial delay to remove the spectator, then the team to which the spectator is associated will forfeit the game, and the spectator, team, and association will face disciplinary action. We ask all associations, parents and participants to assist in preventing unacceptable conduct. Fair play is everyone’s responsibility.

ODWHA Executive, December 2009 OWHA CODE OF CONDUCT: This Code of Conduct identifies the standard of behaviour which is expected of all Ontario Women's Hockey Association Members, including athletes, coaches, parents, directors, volunteers, staff, chaperones and others. OWHA Teams, Associations, Programmes, and Leagues are committed to providing a sport environment in which all individuals are treated with respect. Members of the OWHA shall conduct themselves at all times in a fair and responsible manner. Members shall refrain from comments or behaviours which are disrespectful, offensive, abusive, racist or sexist. In particular, behaviour which constitutes harassement, abuse, bullying or cyber-bullying will not be tolerated by the OWHA. During the course of all OWHA activities and events, members shall avoid behaviour which brings OWHA members or the sport of hockey into disrepute, including by not limited to abusive use of alcohol and non-medical use of drugs. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS CODE OF CONDUCT MAY RESULT IN DISCIPLINARY ACTION, SUSPENSION OR RELEASE FROM MEMBERSHIP. SUCH ACTION MAY RESULT IN THE MEMBER LOSING THE PRIVILEGES THAT COMES WITH MEMBERSHIP IN OWHA.
